BD Manager to Scandinavian CRO
We are looking for a BD manager to join our Business Development group
Scandinavian CRO (SCRO), part of the Labquality Group, is in a very exciting growth phase and needs to strengthen the business development group so that we can continue our journey towards a larger and even more impactful company. We are now looking for a Business Developer, BD Manager, with experience in Life Science to join our Business Development Group. The location of the position is based at our office in Uppsala, but can also involve working proactively within the entire Group's CRO operations. As a BD manager, there are great opportunities to personally develop and also to be involved in developing the organization.
You have experience in business development and sales within the Life Science industry, preferably a relevant university education, as well as several years of documented experience and success within sales and customer development. You preferably have experience of clinical development in industry, healthcare or other CRO(s).
As a person, you have a high level of social skills and can easily adapt to different environments and cultures. You create results and enjoy working independently, but at the same time you are a team-oriented person and have good ability to enable people to work together and to create good relationships. You are responsive, proactive, flexible and solution-oriented.

Your main responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving sales from both new and existing customers and establishing excellent communication lines with new and existing customers to facilitate long term beneficial relationships.
- Identify and conduct research on new customers that lead to quality contacts/meetings and business.
- Produce budget and quotation documentation.
- Contact and communication with subcontractors.
- Negotiate and conclude commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operation and Finance to create quality business proposals that achieve the company's set goals.
- Participate in marketing activities.
Your qualifications
- Experience in the life science industry, preferably both medical technology and pharmaceuticals
- You have experience from working with clinical studies.
- Experience from sales of B2B services in the life science industry, with experience in driving sales.
- Understanding of product development and the challenges faced by small and medium-sized life science companies.
- A strong understanding of sales methods and processes, such as CRM and MS365.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- You enjoy meeting customers on a daily basis and have the opportunity to travel within Europe.
- Excellent written and oral language skills in Swedish and English are required.
